Searching for a particular Cab and vintage on Wine-Searcher and low and behold it was available at Seaholm wines in Huntington. Called the store to confirm they had it and yes they did. Spoke to the owner was very impressed about his knowledgeable of the winery and how he went out his way to make sure I received the first time buyer discount. A great experience.
Great liquor store. Old style store ( nice non-warehouse feel to the place) with wide selection and great service... including help getting boxes right to the car. Highly recommended...
Really love this place. Price for the wine I'm used to buying is cheaper than most other stores I've been to. The owners are friendly and also takes precautions to protect their customers and themselves during this pandemic, so I feel more secured buying wine from them at this shop.
This place is under new ownership now and the new staff is MUCH friendlier. I actually stopped coming to this liquor store because of the staff in the past but once I heard that there were new owners I decided to try it again and I was pleasantly surprised. There is a huge selection of wine here but the majority of the choices range from $20-$50. There aren't a lot of options under $20. I don't think the set up is very smart, I spent a good amount of time looking for a Malbec and really thought they didn't sell any. I had to ask somebody and they guided me to the section which was right next to the Gin and Vodka bottles away from the rest of the reds. Odd. This is the place I will go back to if I want to buy a nice bottle for somebody. As far as buying wine for every day use I prefer something a little cheaper and there isn't a huge selection for that here.
